Hours of Operation

The Firm's hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.  At all other times, general and individual voicemail is available and may be accessed and messages left through the office main switchboard number, or through general or individual e-mail, or facsimile.

Other consultation times are available if scheduled in advance.  The Firm will attempt to accommodate all reasonable meeting time requests to eliminate interference with a client’s work and personal schedules. As a general policy, Ciyou & Dixon, P.C. operates on scheduled appointment and is unable to accommodate walk-in traffic.

After-Hours Matters

Messages are checked on a frequent basis after hours, on weekends and throughout holidays.  However, any message left should be of a general nature.  Specific legal directions, courses of action, emergency requests or deadlines will not be acted upon and are not accepted for such legal action or direction.  The exception to this policy is by personal contact with your retained counsel.

Office Holidays

The official holidays the Firm observes and during which is it close are New Year’s Eve, beginning at 12:00 p.m.; New Year’s Day; Memorial Day; the Fourth of July; Thanksgiving; Christmas Eve, beginning at 12:00 p.m.; and Christmas Day.

Document/Material Drop-Off and Pick-Up

If pre-arranged, the Firm is generally able to accommodate requests for after-hours drop-offs and pick-ups. Such requests must be arranged at least several hours in advance in order to effectively coordinate this with building security, which is on-site at all times.

As a general rule, the Chamber of Commerce’s (“CCB”) main front revolving door is always unlocked and open.  At late hours, the CCB’s back door may be locked; a door bell is provided to alert the security personnel.

If valuable or sensitive information is at hand, the Firm may not be able to accommodate any such request.  This requires the express permission of Bryan Ciyou or Julie Dixon or their designee.

The firm expressly disclaims any and all responsibility and liability for loss or damage, or breach of confidential matters, for any and all such materials.  Arranging a drop off or pick up of materials is only done with implied consent to the risk of loss, damage, or disclosure of that information/item.

Building the Office

Building

The CCB is a gothic 11-story Indiana limestone structure. The rear facade, however, is brick.  It resembles an 11-story castle and has green canopies on the first floor.

The main entrance is on the west side off of Meridian Street and is directly across from the fountain in the Indiana War Memorial Park. The Bank of Indianapolis is located in the CCB at street level on northwest side and Café Zupa on the southwest side. The CCB is bounded to the north by Vermont Street, south by New York Street, and west by Illinois Street.

Office

Ciyou & Dixon, P.C. is located on the 6th Floor of the Chamber of Commerce Building. The offices are the east end of the floor, or an immediate left when exiting the elevators.

Parking

With the exceptions of rainy days or during events, such as parades, walks and races parking is generally available near the building.  To determine if any event may cause traffic restrictions or re-routing and congestion, please contact us in advance. Alternatively, www.indydt.com typically provides a comprehensive list of events, times, street closures, and traffic routing.

Street Parking

On the east side of Meridian Street (the front side of and main entrance for the CCB), metered street parking is available for the entire block bounded by the New York Street to the south and Vermont Street to the north. There is 20-minute free parking immediately in front of the CCB.

Garage Parking

A pay parking garage is located immediately behind the CCB building.  It may be accessed from Illinois Street, which is one-way north.  This parking structure’s physical address and name is as follows:

REI, Real Estate Services
300 North Meridian Street, Suite 200
Indianapolis, Indiana 46204

It is important to note this garage is fully automated, and parking must validated and paid for in the garage’s lobby on the first floor.  This is located on the southeast corner of the garage just outside the elevator doors.
